Localized dry spots (LDS) in particular can create major headaches for superintendents during this stressful period. This is especially true if they have not remained on a consistent, preventative soil surfactant program, or if the weather suddenly turns dry. The latest release from the <a href=\"http:\/\/droughtmonitor.unl.edu\/\">United States Drought Monitor<\/a> shows drought conditions expanding in parts of the Midwest and Southwestern parts of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For superintendents dealing with problem areas this summer, it is time to make an application of Aqueduct. Brian Burke, the superintendent who took the photos, noted improvements the day after his first Aqueduct application and reported near full recovery after five days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aqueduct can also be used as a spot treatment to correct problem areas that flare up during the course of your regular soil surfactant program, or toward the tail end of a soil surfactant application that is losing its effectiveness.
